Get Active is a gentle exercise group aimed at those who want to gently increase their physical activity. It is suitable for anyone, including older members of the community, those who are recovering from illness or those who just want to enjoy physical activity in a safe and supportive atmosphere. The group uses a variety of exercises to improve strength, balance, co-ordination and wellbeing including exercises based on yoga. The sessions, led by Sheila Richardson are enjoyable, fun and gently challenging.
Currently held at Sacriston Methodist Church and Cooper Hall Witton GIlbert every Wednesday.
