SENSING THE SEASONS MINDFULNESS WALKS WITH GILLIE
‘Sensing The Seasons’ is a 70 minute guided Mindfulness-based walk through Witton Dene and is suitable for most abilities, although do come weather prepared. The walk starts at 10.30am and finishes at approximately 12noon with refreshments. Walks are usually a Friday morning, once a month. We endeavour to go ahead with the walk despite moderate bad weather.

Mindfulness is a useful tool to support the development of positive health and well-being. The monthly ‘Sensing the Seasons’ sessions use mindfulness techniques to enable the participant to be aware of themselves in the present and to allow any judgmental thoughts and negative emotions to flow through.
