‘Sensing The Seasons’ is a 55 minute guided Mindfulness-based walk through Witton Dene and is suitable for most abilities, although do come weather prepared. The walk starts at 10am and finishes at approximately 11am with refreshments. Walks are usually the first Friday of the month unless otherwise stated. We endeavour to go ahead with the walk despite moderate bad weather. Please check this website for changes.

Mindfulness is a useful tool to support the development of positive health and well-being. The monthly ‘Sensing the Seasons’ and ‘Walking in Prayer’ sessions use mindfulness techniques to enable the participant to be aware of themselves in the present and to allow any judgmental thoughts and negative emotions to flow through.
